The IB Diploma Programme

(DP)

The IB Diploma Programme (DP) is an academically rigorous, internationally recognised qualification designed for students aged 16-19, preparing them for success at university and beyond.

The programme emphasises a balanced education through the study of six subject areas, supported by the DP Core components:

  •   Theory of Knowledge
  •   Extended Essay
  •   Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS)

Students develop critical thinking, research skills, and global awareness, becoming well-rounded individuals ready to excel academically and personally in a rapidly changing world. The programme also emphasises the IB Learner Profile, promoting qualities such as inquiry, open-mindedness, and effective communication.
