School Fees Framework (2012)
Download PDFApplicable fee increases will be subject to KHDA approval and will be applied to the Founding Fee discounted rates as well as the KHDA approved fees.
A one-time non-refundable/non-transferable application fee of AED 525 inclusive of VAT is payable at the time of application.
A registration fee of AED 5,000 is payable within 7 days of the date on the offer letter to secure a seat. This fee is not refundable and is adjustable against the first term’s tuition fees. The first term tuition is due prior to the student’s first day of school.
The school may charge up to 5% of the student’s annual tuition fees as a re-registration deposit to confirm the return of existing students in the new academic year. This deposit will be deducted from the total tuition fee for the academic year in which the admission is being sought. Re-registration for continuing students will not be accepted unless all outstanding fees due have been paid in full.
Sibling discounts are applicable on the tuition fees each academic year as below:
- 7% for child no. 2 and 3 each
- 10% for child no. 4
- 15% for child no. 5
In accordance with the KHDA Framework, both existing and new students’ deposits will not be refunded if the student decides not to return to Dwight School Dubai or accept the place offered for the next academic year due to selection of another school in Dubai. However, a school may choose to refund the deposit under special circumstances.
If you are relocating outside of Dubai, under the KHDA Framework the deposit paid would be refunded. You will be required to provide evidence of the move and this will need to be submitted to the Dwight School’s Finance Office when requesting a refund.
In the case of refund and recovery, the school fees will be calculated as follows as per the Ministry of Education Bylaws:
If the student attends school for two weeks or less, a month’s school fees will be charged.
If the student attends school for more than two weeks and less than one month, two months’ school fees will be charged.
If the student attends school for more than a month, three months’ school fees will be charged.
In case the term is greater than 3 months then the above cycle will restart at the end of every 3 months.
The value of the fee per month is calculated by dividing the total tuition fees by 10.
First term fees are due one month prior to the 1st day of school. Payments will be accepted via cash, credit card, wire transfer or cheque payable to Dwight School Dubai.
Failure to pay tuition fees may result in:
- Withholding of the student’s school reports, references, and/or exam results
- Temporary or permanent expulsion or exclusion from school
